Keep WordPress updated, backed up and looked after after launch.
Ongoing WordPress maintenance for updates, backups, uptime monitoring, security checks, performance care and small content changes — with coverage that scales by plan.
A WordPress site keeps changing even when you do nothing to it.
WordPress core, plugins, themes, hosting environments and third-party integrations continue to evolve after launch. Maintenance is about reducing avoidable risk and catching problems before they become expensive.
Security exposure
Outdated software can leave known vulnerabilities unpatched. Updates and monitoring reduce risk, although no maintenance service can guarantee a site will never be compromised.
Update conflicts
Plugin, theme and core changes can introduce compatibility problems. More advanced plans add staging and pre-update checks for higher-risk changes.
Performance drift
Database overhead, media, plugin changes and third-party scripts can gradually make a site slower even if the design has not changed.
Recovery gaps
Backups matter most when something has already gone wrong. The right frequency depends on how often the site changes and how much data loss is acceptable.
Core care across updates, recovery, monitoring and small changes.
Not every item is included at the same level in every plan. The plan comparison below shows exactly where Basic, Business and Pro differ.
WordPress updates
Core, plugin and active-theme updates are reviewed and applied according to the plan and the level of change involved.
All plansOff-site backups
Backup frequency scales with the plan: weekly for Basic, daily for Business, and more frequent/on-change protection for Pro where the tooling supports it.
Frequency by planSecurity checks
Basic includes scheduled scanning; Business and Pro add stronger ongoing monitoring and malware-removal coverage according to the plan.
Coverage by planUptime monitoring
Monitoring helps surface downtime so it can be investigated. Resolution still depends on the cause, hosting provider and third-party availability.
All plansPerformance maintenance
Business and Pro include recurring performance housekeeping. Larger remediation projects may still require the dedicated speed-optimization service.
Business & ProSmall content edits
Routine text/image changes are included within a monthly time allowance: 15 minutes Basic, 30 minutes Business and 60 minutes Pro.
Allowance by planMonthly report
A summary of maintenance activity, updates, monitoring and issues gives you a record of what happened during the month.
All plansStaging & pre-update testing
Pro adds staging/compatibility checks for higher-risk updates where the hosting and site setup support a practical staging workflow.
ProMalware removal
Business and Pro include malware cleanup within the maintenance scope. Basic can request cleanup as separate one-time work.
Business & ProChoose coverage based on how important and how active the site is.
The existing $49, $99 and $179 monthly pricing is retained. The important difference is not just the price — it is backup frequency, security coverage, performance care and support response target.

See exactly where the coverage changes.
This replaces the old “everything is included in every plan” wording. Basic handles the fundamentals; Business adds stronger security and performance coverage; Pro adds higher-frequency recovery and update safeguards.

Onboard once, then keep the routine visible.
The first month establishes access, backups and a baseline. After that, maintenance becomes a recurring process with reporting rather than a series of surprise fixes.
Ask about onboarding →Choose a plan & onboard
You provide appropriate WordPress and, where needed, hosting/SFTP access. Temporary or dedicated access is preferred where practical.
Run the initial site audit
We review updates, backups, security status, obvious errors and maintenance risks so existing issues are separated from ongoing care.
Start recurring maintenance
Updates, backups, monitoring and the plan-specific maintenance tasks are performed on the agreed schedule.
Receive the monthly summary
You get a clear record of maintenance activity, issues found and anything that needs a separate development or security decision.

Questions before putting a site on maintenance.
Coverage, backups, malware, WooCommerce, cancellation and how access is handled.
Does a new WordPress site still need maintenance?
Yes. New sites still receive WordPress, plugin and theme updates and still depend on hosting, backups and third-party software. The appropriate level of maintenance depends on how important and how frequently the site changes.
What happens if an update breaks the site?
We investigate the conflict and use the available backup or rollback path where appropriate. Pro adds pre-update compatibility checks for higher-risk changes. The exact recovery method depends on the site and hosting setup.
Is malware removal included?
It is included in Business and Pro. On Basic, malware cleanup is handled as separate one-time work because that plan includes scheduled scanning rather than the stronger security coverage of the higher plans.
Can I cancel the maintenance plan?
The current maintenance terms are month-to-month and ask for 7 days’ notice before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future renewals; the Refund Policy governs refunds for a billing period that has already started.
Do you maintain websites you did not build?
Yes. We start with an onboarding audit so pre-existing problems can be identified before recurring maintenance begins. Significant inherited issues may need separate remediation before normal care is practical.
How do you access the website?
We use the access needed for the agreed maintenance work, typically WordPress admin and sometimes hosting or SFTP. Temporary or dedicated accounts are preferred where possible, and access can be revoked when the service ends.
Are WooCommerce stores covered?
Yes. Business and Pro are the more appropriate standard plans for active WooCommerce stores because they add daily or higher-frequency backups, stronger security coverage and performance maintenance. Complex stores may need a custom maintenance scope.
Does maintenance include unlimited development work?
No. Each plan includes a small monthly content/development allowance. Larger redesigns, custom functionality, major fixes or performance projects are quoted separately so the maintenance scope remains predictable.
Want WordPress maintenance without guessing what is covered?
Choose the level of backup, security and support your site actually needs. If the standard plans do not fit, we can scope a custom multi-site or higher-change setup.
