Effective date: September 25, 2026
This Licensing Policy explains how software, templates, code, digital products, website tools, games and custom deliverables created by TechBoard may be used.
A product or project may include additional licensing terms. Where product-specific terms differ from this general policy, the product-specific terms apply.
Free Online Tools
TechBoard provides browser-based tools such as generators, calculators and other utilities.
You may use these tools for personal or commercial purposes.
Unless stated otherwise, you may also use the output generated by a TechBoard tool in your own website, document, business or client work.
For example, schema markup created using a TechBoard generator may be copied to a website without attribution to TechBoard.
Using a tool does not give you ownership of the tool itself.
You may not copy, clone, redistribute, resell, rebrand or publish the underlying TechBoard interface, source code, design or software as your own unless you have written permission or the code is separately released under an open-source license.
Free Games
TechBoard games may be played freely through the TechBoard website.
Unless an individual game states otherwise, the game source code, artwork, interface, audio, branding and gameplay implementation may not be copied, repackaged, sold, embedded on another website or distributed as a standalone product without permission.
Normal screenshots, links and reasonable references to the games are permitted.
Paid Digital Products
A purchase of a TechBoard plugin, template, code package or other downloadable product normally grants a license to use the product rather than ownership of its intellectual property.
Unless the product page provides a different license, one purchase may be used for the purchaser’s own project or for one client project for whom the purchaser is directly providing services.
The product may form part of a finished website or end product.
It may not be redistributed, resold, sublicensed, uploaded to a public download library or sold as a competing standalone product.
Agency and Client Work
Where a purchaser uses a licensed TechBoard product while building a website for a client, the resulting website may be delivered to that client.
The client may continue using the installed product as part of that website, subject to the original license.
The purchaser and client do not receive permission to extract and redistribute the TechBoard product separately.
Plugins and Updates
A plugin license may include updates, support or activation rights for a specified number of websites or for a specified period.
The product page will state those limits where applicable.
Expiry of an update or support period does not necessarily disable the installed software unless the product terms specifically state that operation requires an active subscription.
Custom Development
For custom client projects, ownership of final deliverables will be governed by the applicable proposal or agreement.
After full payment, clients will normally receive the rights necessary to operate, modify and maintain the custom website or deliverables created specifically for them.
TechBoard retains ownership of any pre-existing frameworks, internal tools, libraries, reusable code, processes and general-purpose components incorporated into the project.
Where such components are necessary for the delivered project to operate, the client receives a continuing license to use them as part of that project.
Third-Party Components
TechBoard projects and products may include WordPress, WooCommerce, JavaScript libraries, fonts, themes, plugins, APIs or other third-party components.
Those components remain governed by their respective licenses.
Nothing in the TechBoard license overrides an open-source or third-party license.
Open-Source Code
If TechBoard releases a component under an open-source license, the accompanying open-source license governs that component.
Open-source status should not be assumed simply because website code can be viewed in a browser.
Ownership of Branding and Content
The TechBoard name, logo, original website design, written materials, graphics and proprietary product branding remain the property of their respective rights holders.
A license to use a TechBoard product does not grant permission to use TechBoard branding in a way that implies partnership, endorsement or ownership.
Prohibited Redistribution
Purchasing, accessing or receiving a TechBoard product does not permit you to upload it to marketplaces, file-sharing websites, source-code repositories, template libraries, “nulled” software sites or similar distribution channels.
The same restriction applies where the product is modified or renamed but remains substantially based on TechBoard’s work.
Refunds and Licenses
Where a digital-product purchase is refunded, the associated license ends.
The purchaser must stop using the product and remove copies where reasonably possible.
License Violations
TechBoard may suspend updates, support, product activation or account access where there is reasonable evidence of license abuse.
Serious infringement may result in termination of the license and other remedies available under applicable law.
Questions About Licensing
If you want to redistribute, white-label, bundle, resell or use a TechBoard product beyond the standard license, contact TechBoard before doing so.
Custom commercial licensing can be agreed separately where appropriate.
