Effective date: September 25, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of thetechboard.net and your purchase or use of services and products provided by TechBoard.
By using this website, placing an order, accepting a quotation or instructing TechBoard to begin work, you agree to these Terms together with any proposal, statement of work, invoice, licensing terms or other written agreement applicable to your project.
TechBoard Services
TechBoard provides digital services that may include website development, WordPress development, WooCommerce work, Shopify development, SEO, performance optimization, website maintenance, troubleshooting, migration, design and related technical services.
The exact scope of a paid engagement will be determined by the relevant service page, quotation, proposal, order or written agreement.
Where a project-specific agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the project-specific agreement will apply to that project.
Quotations and Scope
Quotations are based on the information available when they are prepared.
Work requested outside the agreed scope may require an additional quotation, fee or delivery period.
Features, revisions, integrations or content that were not included in the original scope are not automatically included in the original price.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information, content, feedback, access credentials and approvals reasonably required to perform the work.
Delays in providing these items may delay the project timeline.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use any text, trademarks, photographs, videos, software, databases or other materials supplied to TechBoard.
Website Access and Credentials
Some services require temporary access to WordPress, hosting, DNS, analytics, Search Console, Shopify or other systems.
Where possible, clients should create temporary or dedicated accounts rather than sharing personal credentials.
TechBoard will use supplied access for the purpose of providing the requested service and may remove locally stored credentials when they are no longer needed.
Clients should revoke temporary access when work has been completed.
Payments
Payment terms will be shown on the relevant order, product page, invoice or proposal.
TechBoard may require full payment, a deposit or milestone payments before particular work begins.
Failure to make an agreed payment may result in work being paused, delivery being withheld, licenses being suspended or services being terminated.
Prices may exclude taxes, payment-processing charges or third-party expenses where applicable.
Revisions
Reasonable revisions may be included where stated in the service scope.
A revision means an adjustment to agreed work. A request for a new design direction, additional functionality or work outside the original specification may be treated as additional work.
Project Delivery and Approval
TechBoard may provide staging links, previews, reports, files or other deliverables for review.
Clients should review deliverables within a reasonable period and report material problems promptly.
Minor issues discovered after delivery do not automatically invalidate completed work and will normally be handled according to the agreed support or revision terms.
Third-Party Software and Services
Websites frequently depend on third-party themes, plugins, hosting companies, APIs, payment processors, analytics services and other external platforms.
TechBoard does not control these providers and cannot guarantee their continued availability, compatibility, pricing, policies or performance.
Changes made by third-party providers may require additional work that is outside the original project scope.
SEO and Search Results
TechBoard may make improvements intended to support search visibility, technical quality and website performance.
No search-engine ranking, indexing date, traffic level, conversion rate, lead quantity or revenue result is guaranteed unless an agreement expressly says otherwise.
Search engines independently determine crawling, indexing and ranking.
Performance
Performance optimization can significantly improve a website, but final results depend on hosting, themes, plugins, advertising scripts, external services, visitor devices and other factors outside TechBoard’s direct control.
Any performance target should therefore be interpreted according to the scope and test conditions agreed for the project.
Maintenance and Security
Maintenance and security services reduce risk but cannot guarantee that a website will never experience downtime, malware, unauthorized access, software defects or data loss.
Clients remain responsible for maintaining appropriate business continuity practices and retaining important business records.
Backups
Where backups are included in a service, TechBoard will make reasonable efforts to configure and maintain them according to the agreed scope.
No backup system should be considered infallible. Clients should maintain independent copies of critical data where appropriate.
Intellectual Property
Ownership of custom deliverables is governed by the project agreement and the TechBoard Licensing Policy.
Unless otherwise agreed, final custom work created specifically for a client may be transferred or licensed to the client after all related invoices have been paid.
TechBoard retains ownership of pre-existing tools, frameworks, libraries, reusable components, development methods and internal systems used to create the work.
Third-party materials remain subject to their original licenses.
Portfolio Use
Unless confidentiality has been agreed in writing, TechBoard may identify completed work in its portfolio, project archive, proposals and marketing materials.
Sensitive client information, private credentials and confidential business information will not intentionally be published for portfolio purposes.
A client may request that a project remain confidential before work begins.
Digital Products
Digital products are licensed rather than sold outright unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Use of TechBoard plugins, templates, software, downloadable code and other digital products is subject to the Licensing Policy and any product-specific license shown at the time of purchase.
Free Tools and Games
TechBoard may provide calculators, generators, educational tools and games without charge.
These resources are provided for general use and may be modified, discontinued or updated without notice.
Generated results should be reviewed before being relied upon for business, financial, technical, legal or other important decisions.
Acceptable Use
You may not intentionally interfere with the TechBoard website, bypass security measures, overload services, introduce malicious code, scrape protected systems at unreasonable rates, attempt unauthorized access or use TechBoard products for unlawful purposes.
You may not falsely represent TechBoard software, content or services as your own.
Confidentiality
Where either party receives confidential business or technical information during a project, that information should be used only for the purpose of providing or receiving the agreed service.
This does not apply to information that is already public, independently developed or lawfully received from another source.
Service Suspension or Termination
TechBoard may suspend or terminate services where payments are seriously overdue, systems are being abused, unlawful activity is requested or continued work would create an unreasonable security or legal risk.
Where practical, TechBoard will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Clients may terminate services according to their proposal, subscription or Refund Policy.
Disclaimer
The website and free resources are provided on an “as available” basis.
Although TechBoard aims to keep information accurate and systems functional, we do not guarantee that every page, tool or service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TechBoard will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the website, third-party platforms or services.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, TechBoard’s aggregate liability relating to a paid service will ordinarily be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
TechBoard may update these Terms as its website, services and products evolve.
Changes will apply from the effective date shown on this page and will not retroactively alter a separately signed agreement unless agreed by the parties.
Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the law identified in the applicable proposal, invoice or business registration details.
For the website-wide version of these Terms, TechBoard should insert its primary legal jurisdiction here before publication.

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the TechBoard contact page or to the support contact published on the website.
