What is Product schema?
Product schema is structured data that describes a product in a machine-readable format. It can communicate information such as the product name, brand, images, identifiers, price, availability, condition, and ratings.
Search engines can use those details to understand a product page more accurately. Valid markup can make a page eligible for enhanced product search appearances, but structured data does not guarantee a rich result.
How to use the Product Schema Generator
Start with the product name, then add the page URL, description, product images, brand, SKU, MPN, or GTIN when those values genuinely apply.
If the product is being sold, keep the Offer section enabled. Add its current price, currency, availability, condition, and product URL. You can also add an aggregate rating when the rating and review count are genuinely displayed on the product page.
The JSON-LD updates automatically while you type. Copy the finished markup and add it to the relevant product page, then test the live page using Google’s Rich Results Test and the Schema.org Validator.
Product schema tips
Keep your structured data consistent with what visitors actually see. Do not add ratings, prices, availability, or other information only to the schema.
Use a real GTIN only if the product has an official identifier. Schema.org’s general gtin property supports valid 8, 12, 13, or 14-digit GTINs, which is why the generator validates those formats and their check digits.
